Description
Should we get hold of a few domain names we might want to use in the future for gammalib / ctools?
These are some names that I think would be nice for a landing page or to have stable URLs in case we have caldb or data files for users to download:
- gammalib.org , ctools.org is taken
- gamma-astronomy.org and gamma-astro.org or gamma-sky.org or gamma-tools.org
Jürgen, what do you think?
Should I do it, or do you want to, or should we ask the CTA project office to do it?
Recurrence
No recurrence.

As the scope of gammalib is well beyond the scope of CTA, it’s certainly not a project office issue.
We have in fact plans to create a platform for High-Energy Astronomy support in the framework of the Virtual Observatory in our lab. In this context, we will have of course web services where all such data can be put. So far we have not yet started to work on setting up platform, but this is somewhere on my todo list.
The advantage of a lab site is that it will be stable, and in addition, there will be support from engineers to run the platform. The web address may be something like http://ovhe.irap.omp.eu/. For the meanwhile we have http://cta.irap.omp.eu/ which is equally stable, and which can be used for downloads.
