Description
When running on kepler using OpenMP support, ctbin is rather slow when applied to GPS observation definition file. It appears that the parallel processing is not actually used.

I refactored the code so that there is no critical zone anymore. The code now runs considerably faster, binning of the entire GPS at a resolution of 0.02 deg/pixel was finished after about 14 minutes.
